Quick Update: Everybody is Sick

26 Oct

Hey blogger friends! I just wanted to leave a quick update because I KNOW I’m behind on a few things — mainly the final reveal/breakdown for our fabulous Fun Fall Swap gift exchange and my October Citrus Lane box review.

Unfortunatly, both Jack and I are sick sick sick and I have absolutely no energy left. Honestly, I’m still in my eyeglasses and pajamas right now.

We spent yesterday at the doctor’s office, followed by oh-so-fun ambulance ride to the hospital. Although RSV was suspected, Jack is currently enjoying a particularly nasty case of bronchiolitis.

Yes, that’s right — after only 25 days of daycare, of which he actually attended 6 days — Jack has had one cold with a side of croup and one cold with a side of bronchiolitis. So I’m sure nobody is surprised that we’re quitting daycare.

I’ll be back to my regular posting as soon as I’m feeling human again. Until then, enjoy your weekend! If you’re planning to work on any fun home improvement projects, tell me all about it so I can live vicariously through you!

Oh no…No worries! I wish I could tell ya it’s gets easier but even as they get bigger you still worry when they are sick. Can’t say I blame ya about pulling him from daycare. My Little was never in daycare but got sick at the drop of a hat…one reason we chose NOT to put him in! Wishing you both a speedy recovery!!

[…] I wrote about our first try with an in-home childcare, which turned out to be run by a hoarder. I also wrote about our second try with a professional childcare center that I was initially super excited about… until Jack ended up being sick all month long. […]
